My first Buick

I'm getting old and my back is getting stiff so I wanted something easier to get in and out of. I wanted a pickup truck but they make them all so high now. I looked at the Equinox and Enclave then the Trax and Encore. The 2018s have touch screens which I don't like and they don't like me. I was shown some used ones that don'y have a touch screen. I like the screen on top of the dashboard that the older Encores have and the Trax didn't. You don't have to look down to see it so you can keep your eyes on the road. I was able to purchase a Certified 2015 lease return in the leather version. I enjoy the Envoy so far. I have warranty until 2025 or 100,000 miles. Since I only put 53,000 miles on my last car in 12 years, I doubt I'll reach the 100,000 miles before the time runs out.

It seems to have plenty of power on the highway. The turbocharger means it needs a little cool down time at idle before shutting it off but I'm used to that from diesel trucks.

The Encore seems to be a good car for a person like me. The seat moves far enough back to fit me. I don't have anybody sitting in the back seat. There is room to carry things yet the car is compact enough to get around easily.

I also love trucks they are better than the car in any comparison, we are running a towing company 24-hour Roadside Assistance in new york, and looking to buy some trucks for enhancing the business.
