If you add in all the bells and whistles on the Trax, would it bring the interior materials up to the level of the Encore?
The Trax is a Canadian-only model. At the moment GM has no plans to bring it the U.S.A. How I see it, American's have the better version of it, the luxurious version.

Canada has both, more is better The difference is the Encore looks proportionate for its size, the TRAX looks quite cobbled together for its size. It looks like it wants to be bigger but hasnt hit the growth spurt yet..

Are there many vehicles that are sold in Canada but not the US? I know there are cars sold in the US but not Canada, but I rarely hear of the opposite. I wonder what the reasoning behind the decision to only offer the TRAX in Canada was.

The U.S. is the one being deprived, both the Trax and Encore are in Canada, only the Encore is in the U.S.

I think both the Trax and Encore should be sold in the U.S.

yeah it's only south of the boarder, plus there would be minimal changes needed, they should at least try it with small production numbers to start

I wonder what the reason was by not offering the TRAX.

good read. definitely lots of opinions and facts supporting and not supporting the Trax.

I wouldn't think the Trax would be a failure if they did do it. But they likely have their own agenda on why they dont want to bring it over. Hey at least we have the Encore. Which is doing pretty darn well.
